Dungeon Destroyer Released!

Finally, after a week of spaghetti code, desperate finding good free assets (with permission ofc) getting dirty with Unity Docs , and hundreds of Brackey's, Noa, Jonas, and Code Monkey tuts, I was able to make my first ever game! Even though it wasn't 100% as planned, I was still pretty happy with the result, and I just wanna share my happiness to anyone who is reading this.

Initially, this wasn't even supposed to be a top down shooter at all with all those crazy explosions and monsters, instead I gave the gamejam topic "change" a chance. It was going to be a physics based portal style 2D platformer, where instead of boxes, the whole level design can be changed to solve puzzles, and instead of a gravity gun the character just has this super telekinesis power and stuff like that. But 2 days came in (I started the jam 1 week has passed) and I just realized this was too ambitious and probably not going to work, I was not very good at creating puzzles so thats a minus, and I didn't have the ablity to code such game, every script I searched on the web regarding this only gave me problems, and I think I was going to give up.

Until,  I was scrolling down YT and found the soundtrack for one of my childhood games, Alien Shooter, a game from the mid 2000s, and that  was the start of this game, I was so Inspired by the action and intensity of that game, and it saved me from failing the jam.

And this was the story of Dungeon Destroyer, my simple action game, it may not be the best of this jam, but the completion of the game definitely filled my heart out. If you are reading this, thank you so much for giving a small amount of time of readin, hope I inspired you a little bit to not give up. If you really want it to happen, it will happen :>
